Cat Boarding Guide

New client application form

Please fill out our application form if you are a new client booking into the cattery. This is so we have all the important information we need about you and your cat, so we can provide the best care possible.

Booking Requirements:

Age: We accept cats aged above 8 weeks for boarding.

Vaccination:
All cats must possess a valid FVRCP vaccination for the entire duration of their reservation. Kittens above 8 weeks must have received at least 1 vaccination shot covering their stay. Adult cats must have completed the full course of vaccination shots or have a valid titer antibody blood test result displaying sufficient antibodies of the FVRCP vaccine. If your cat is ineligible for vaccination, a veterinarian’s note certifying your cat’s fitness for boarding must be submitted.

Sterilization:
Cats above 8 months of age displaying signs of sexual maturity must be sterilized.

Parasite-Free:
Cats must be free of parasites. You are required to provide a pipette of spot-on parasite treatment at check-in.

Health Status:
Your cat should be free of illness and injury at check-in. If your cat has recently recovered from illness and/or injury (within the past 30 days), a written note from your veterinarian is required.

Boarding Forms:
Prior to check-in, you must agree to our Master Boarding Agreement and provide necessary information about your cat, including health status, feeding instructions, and veterinary documents.

Health & Behavioral Assessment:
Our caretakers will conduct a physical examination at check-in to ensure compliance with the above requirements.

We reserve the right to reject:

a) Owners who do not submit valid documents proving their cat’s eligibility for boarding.
b) Cats who do not fulfill the requirements for boarding at our facility.
c) Cats displaying overly aggressive tendencies at check-in.

Acceptance of Veterinarian Written Note: In certain cases, we may accept a written note issued by a veterinarian, overriding our boarding requirements, if the cat is unsuitable for vaccination or has recently recovered from an illness, infection, or parasite infestation.

Special Consideration for Senior/Geriatric Cats: Senior cats, defined as cats above 12 years of age, may have specific vaccination recommendations. If your veterinarian advises against vaccination booster shots for your senior cat, a written note declaring compliance with our terms of stay is acceptable.

Please note that the above requirements are in place to ensure the health and well-being of all cats boarding at our facility.
